Yeah im kinda waited we see Sabrina in this world tournament. By far toughest gym leader beat in kanto and would be nice see ash battling against his old pokemon. Well ash never catch it even it was short time in his party. Weird ash never get challenged so far by someone who is lower rank. Always just higher rank opponent. Atleast hope those tournament matches they start use more pokemons each side like +4 rather than 2vs2 or even worse 1v1.

Characters im waited may, but someone mention comments in here they probably cannot get original voice actor so guess thats reason why arent gonna see may comeback.

Well flint rank can be higher or lower hard say before we see who is even top 8. Battle against leon/dande (e27) he was rank 7th and now hes drop rank 8th. Funny ash never drop lower in his ranks if someone raise ranks or get challenge anyone who is lower than him :D

how ash's place in the ranking never changes when he is not battling like all the other contestants dont battle unless its against ash

I think Raihan lost to Flint OR another of the Master's Eight.
The ranking is based on their overall performance in that tier, most likely. Since Ash or Satoshi had a perfect win record in Hyper Class, he had a huge ranking boost when battling Mary (the music girl sister of a gym leader) to 15 even if mary is 29 and Adh/Satoshi is 36.

Think of it as a roulette where they alternatively battle all the other trainers in the same class before fighting yet another opponent?

He's gonna lose the next fight, I think. BUT I really hope he wins this one. I really want him to get to the point where he can use all three things in one fight, dynamax, z move and mega evolution.

I reckon he does too, but in the end Kibana is only an gym leader in the end. Though in sword and shield region (forgot it's name) each gym leader was a championship winner so maybe those scale differently. I'd have actually thought Drasna would rank above him in both standing outside the championship but also strenght.
